Designed with free riding in mind the new and improved Inferno has revisions pushing it further into the freeride category.
This year’s inferno is as durable as ever because of its lightweight Paulownia wood core, scratchproof top sheet, and the carbon fiber and Biaxial glass laminate. The flat bottom, new rocker, and improved outline, make the inferno a more aggressive freeride board. This new shape allows the board to ride smoother through choppy waters and pop extremely well. If carving aggressive transitions, speed, big airs, and board offs interest you, speed up your progression with the new and improved Axis Inferno.
The base is gloss finish PBT with bright sublimated graphics. The top sheet is a tough embossed finish PBT with bright sublimated graphics. With its special texture and strength, the top of the Inferno boards is very durable, and will take more scratches and daily abuse on the beach or in the trunk.
The rails are made from AXIS ABS. The ABS material is very tough and is a special formula that bond very well to epoxy. The laminate is 600gsm triaxial fiberglass which provides durability and great damping. The core of each AXIS Inferno board is solid Paulownia wood. This material is light and strong. We have selected Paulownia as it is a very fast growing timber and one of the most sustainable timbers that you could have for a kiteboards core.
The 2013 AXIS Inferno is supplied with 4 x 50mm brightly colored solid Premium G10 fins. The AXIS Inferno fins are secured by 8 x screws thru from the deck.
We supply the AXIS Inferno complete with our own fin retainers to spread the load from the screws to the deck area.
The AXIS UTS footpads/straps, fins and graphics make the board easy to find after a crash.
All Inferno boards have the pad/strap inserts perfectly symmetrical to each rail of the board. This way if your heel side rail gets damaged, you can switch the UTS system, and your toe side rail becomes your new heel side.
