The 2015 Airush Lightwind Kites deliver power, so much power that we’ve ridden them in as little as 5 kts! (170lb Rider on Airush Slayer 60)
The Airush Lithium 16m and 18m are great kites to have in your quiver. Before, lightwind was considered around 10kts, Airush has lowered that bar to around 5kts with the right board by designing a lightweight, strut less kite in the 18m Zero. The wind range on the Zero is 5-12kts and we DO NOT recommend flying it into the teens. If you’re looking for a kite with great low end power and a ton of pull, the Airush Zero will get you out of the water and up and riding in the lightest of breezes.
The 2015 Lithium 16m One (Only one center strut) has the same Lithium flying characteristics but has been stripped down in weight to maximize its low end. With new a Technoforce D2 canopy, the 16m One is lightweight with great rigidity and strength throughout the canopy.
Poly Load Frame (PLF):
Much like the Aramid Load Frame used in 2015 Airush Team kites, the Poly Load Frame uses a different material to achieve the same results. Poly Load Frame is a polyester fiber that is strategically sewn along the canopy of the kite to prevent stretching. Not only will this increase the longevity of your Airush kite, it creates a solid connection panel to panel to retain the kite's shape while turning and looping.
New for 2015:
- All New XL Valve and FBI System
