The Spitfire is an extremely exciting evolution in Caution's 7 years of experimentation and development in the C-Shape SLE high depower kite design.
The Spitfire finds the perfect blend between mind blowing performance, flying reliability, and construction durability. Whether you ride the surf, launch old school freestyle, or unhook and pass the handle, you will find the stability, quickness, sheeting feel unsurpassed by any other style of kite.
The Spitfire features super short leading edge bridals which deliver quick response and a crisp feel when sheeting in and out. Short bridals prevent unwanted tangles when relaunching the kite in the water, particularly in the waves, or when self launching on land.
The Spitfire features a one way inflation valve on the Leading Edge which makes inflation faster and easier without the need to pinch the valve while plugging the stopper. Deflating the kite is quick and easy with the dime sized deflation valve and plastic finger for opening the one way inflation valve.
The Spitfire features two attachment points for the rear bridal. The redesigned wingtips deliver greater strength allowing for a simpler bridal options and overall quicker steering response. Caution's chain blocks handle high loads and maintain minimal friction without the complexity of working parts or metal pins.
When it comes to seam construction, Caution has been a leader in durability and reliability since the beginning of the kite industry. Being the first kite company to focus R&D in the waves, Caution has had a long history of building kites that could withstand the abuse of kiting in the waves.
